A little more info would be helpful. Sounds like you have a 5 lug though. Theres a specific category on here for those. Your options are a little more limited though on fitting bigger tires

Keep in mind your stock tires are not even 27". Jump up to 31s and your lowering your rpm by 15%.

If you think your truck is slow now you won't like the results.

Hopefully you have the stick or you are asking for a real slug.

I'm not about the looks, and could care less about the passenger tires and steel wheels, so I'm no help there.

Consider that larger tires will screw up your gearing and make highway driving a pain in the butt. If I were you I would get a nice set of rims for it and get a set of BFG All Terrains for it in the same size as stock or marginally larger. I think they look great that way even without a lift.

tire size calculator

Ya... I wouldn't go over a 225/75-15 or a 235/70-15
Absolute max, 245/70-15, and that's a 6% difference.

Im running 235/55/18 on my 5 lug, I haven't felt that much of a difference, handling is much better which is worth it for me.

If you plan on keeping a stock look, I would go with either highlander/rav4/xrunner rims, larger tire, IMO 30" max

That's one I was thinking of going to when my current tires are shot.
It's about 5% difference, which will be a nice speedo correction.

I'd love to see these wheels: (Rav 4 17" steel wheel which have a similar design to stock 15" tacoma wheels)

with these tires 225/70/17
