Got a 05 crew sport pkg. super white. I want to install a exhaust system that sounds like a 69 goat. I like the low rumble. What is the best system for this sound? I would also like to lift it 3" any suggestions? I'm in California southern, restrections on everything, cold air, headers not allowed what can I do to get the most from the 4.0?

I had a magnaflow cat-back exhaust on my 06 X-Runner and it sounded pretty good but not like a V-8. Like wolfpack said we are missing 2 Cylinders.

Welcome to TW! I have a TRD catback. It sounds better than stock, but not that V8 sound.

I do appriciate all of your comments and suggestions. And you are right about the sound as far as V8's are concerned. I just thought they might have some majic system by now. What do you think about lifting it 3"? I will look into the catback I like the split pipes. Being new to TW I want to thank you all for putting in. I am still learning how to use this web site.

Welcome to TW! I've got the OME complete 3" lift with Dakar rear springs on my 2011 and it is a hell of a lot better than what came on it stock. I couldn't be happier with it.
