Hi I am getting a strange sound coming from my windshield defrost vents when it is really windy or when I meet a transport it is like a whistle sound and it gets very annoying. Did anyone have that problem before? I have a 2011 Tacoma. Thank you

I found the problem with the strange sound that I was getting from the windshield on my 2011 Tacoma. It is the molding around the windshield that makes that sound. What I was told by Standard auto glass is that the molding is made out of plastic and when it is warm the plastic will expand and when it is cold the molding will shrink. So then the molding becomes loose and the wind catches under the molding and makes it whistle. You have to go to Standard auto glass or any other company that repairs windshield and they will remove the molding and glue it back on or replace the molding all together.
