Been stalking this forum for a few months now.. and have searched and read a ton. I'm 99.9% sure i'll be buying a new 2012/2013 tacoma next year around this time. in the process of selling my 04 GTO now.. and when it comes time my DD jeep liberty will be sold to go towards the new Black, double cab, short bed, sport, taco.

dont be fooled by the jeep liberty :)... 06 with 54k miles, Army OD, renegade, OME lifted, detroit locked, 4.10 gears, BFG KM2 32's (winter have 31x10.5 15 studded duratracs), 6 speed, armor, ARB with winch, custom rack, exhaust, intake, custom rear storage... goes on and on haha.. and gets wheeled hard.

GTO has a bunch of mod's too. 6 speed, 5.7, long tubes, cold air, tune, HID's.. ect...

All work to both GTO and Liberty was done by myself (including disassemble, paint (PPG waterborne base, flat clear), reassemble)

the goal for my taco is like i said above. Black 2012/13, SB,DC, entune, sport, auto... .then weathertech floor mats, in channel vent visors, soft topper, black out or take off all emblems, lights, windows, wheels.

after some of the warranty is gone it'll get a 6inch, 35's and gears.

thanks for all the great information on this site. has really helped in my decision and goal.

thanks for the greetings... i look forward to the adventure! I have no idea how my taco will end up... typically my 'projects' get out of control (like the liberty i bought with the intentions of leaving completely stock). Just cant wait to get it started.. I need to make a few mile stones in my current job before buying a taco. It's my inspiration to work better, faster, harder.. haha!

well i found a buyer for my jeep today... sold the GTO a few weeks ago. Dealer curitisy traded the jeep (to save tax on $13k)... made my best deal on a 2012 black DCSB TRD sport automatic. :) $29819 (dealer&plate transfer included). then only paid 5% tax on $16k of it. i think i did pretty good! $30619 out the door. anyway here are some pictures.

Weathertech floor liners, In channel vent visors (avs prob). Tint the tail lights/3rd brake with VHT niteshade and PPG clear coat, Remove all 'toyota' and 'tacoma' ect name plates, black out front toyota emblem. and window tint (25%). Paint the wheels black (or maybe plastidip)... and do the BHLM. 2500K yellow bulbs for fog lights. TRD sport with Mtn bike decal for bed side.

all of that will be done before winter.

then save for a tonneau cover and manual Pop&lock.

made some more progress today. Took off the 'tacoma' on doors/tail gate, took off TRD sport bed side stickers, took off mud flaps, debadged tail gate, and added tinted license plate cover.
next is in channel vent visors, tinted windows, and blacked wheels. :)
