    Name's Jake Wagg. I'm big fan of Toyotas. I own a 2000 SR5 Ext cab, V6 manual 4x4. I also own a 2006 Sequoia Limited and a '73 FJ40. I just got the Taco recently so I'm just learning the ins and out of this truck. It's got it's quirks, but with a little time and money it should be perfect. I keep getting a check engine light when I get up to highways speed (70-75) Not sure what that's about, but I'm hoping it's not going to be something real bad. Is there a way to bring up a code on the dash, or does it HAVE to be connected to a scanner?

    Take it to Advanced auto parts or a Napa they have a scanner that can read the codes. They do this for free.

    Well, I stopped by at the Toyota dealership that my brother works at. Got a free scan. I was told it was a 171 Mass Airflow Sensor trip. I'm going to clean the MAS and the connections and see if it comes back.
