My First New Truck!

Drove this home a couple weeks ago! It's my first Tacoma and first new truck. Couldn't find exactly what i wanted in the Northwest, so I flew out to Montana and put 800 miles on it to get it home. Best road trip ever! Had to go with a DCLB, and really wanted a hood scoop too. A little disappointed that the long bed was only TRD Sport without a locker, but the long bed was a must. I fell in love with the MGM a few years ago, but was also checking out the Pyrite Mica. Now I'm very glad I went with it.

I've learned a lot of great info here. Everyone needs to know about the potential for tailgate theft. I'm going to post my recommended fix - it's a little more secure than the hose clamp.

 

Congrats on your purchase. To my knowledge none of the sports have lockers just LSD. The TRD OR has the locker.

Wow, that doesn't look like Pyrite at all. I'm very aware though of how this color changes drastically based on sunlight, surroundings, etc.
