Bought my first Tacoma last night. Got a terrifc deal from a dealers lot and could not turn it down. It is a regular cab with a 4 cylinder automatic. Now I can go to Home Depot in style and haul things right instead of hanging boards out the window of a corolla.

Thanks. Looking forward to asking some questions and learning more about these trucks. Have had friends who had much older toyotas and they would not part with them.

I came across a deal at a ford dealer that I could not pass up. 2008 Tacoma, Red Impulse Peal, Regular Cab, 12,500 miles and automatic. In excellent condition for $12,156 out the door (taxes, doc and title fees).

I kind of think the dealer wanted it gone so other buyers would not be distracted by it. Or he wanted to see how fast he could around a trade in and then a sale. I had to wait while they cleaned it up so I could drive it home. It even passes the wife's cute truck test.:D

Welcome. Sounds like a good deal to me. It should last you a good 15 years or more with some TLC. Congrats!
