1997 Tacoma runs great. However, if I go out and turn engine off for 15-20 minutes, it is extremely difficult to restart. I have to either let it sit for 45 to 60 minutes or try to start it over and over again until it finally starts again. If I let it sit for an hour I have no problem starting it. When the truck sits overnight, there is no problem starting it the next morning.

I have replaced: Fuel pump, distributor cap, points, plugs, wires, filters. Nothing has helped.

Has anyone, anywhere experienced this problem and been able to get it fixed?

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
Does it crank? If so, replace the temp sensors. If the sensors are off, but within normal engine operating ranges, it won't set a code.
