Hello all, I am 15 years old. I am from TN and so far I love this forum. I'm here to tell you about my Tacoma's.

About 8 months ago I bought a Wrecked junkyard truck. It was most def a junk yard truck. No seats, No rear axle, it had been picked. It is a 1999 Tacoma ext cab SR5 2.4l 5 spd 2wd. It has 200k on it and I give $1000 for the truck. I fixed the truck myself with the help of my dad. Keep in mind this truck hit a car in the butt doing about 30mph so it was smashed pretty good in the front end. About $1300 later we end up with this.

A finished truck. Do to stores ordering the wrong parts I ended up swapping over to a 1996 grille, headlights, bumper. My orginal idea was to make this truck a SAS and keep it for a sweet Daily Driver. I hopped on craigslist looking for parts to make my conversion when I found this jewel.

A 1996 Tacoma 4x4 ext cab 2.7l Auto SR5. I found this puppy for 2,000!!! But there's a catch. It has a rod knocking in it. No biggy. Couple months and a little bit of money later and I will have this truck going as well. This truck is clean. New tires, SR5, ext cab, ect. It was to good of a deal to pass up.

So there is my story and some pictures of my two Tacoma's.

Hell yeah. 2 is always better than 1. Nice job. Your first truck would have looked good black also. Welcome from Alabama.

    Thanks!
    Thanks!

Thank you! I think so too, but the paint is new less than 2 years old. The guy that did it really screwed it up. It is dull as a 100 year old knife. I'm working now to get it shining back new.

It has the back window. Its a brand new piece too. It just isn't tinted to match the others yet.
