Hello Everyone. I'm new here and as of Yet I don't have The Tacoma.
I'm looking to buy a new 2013 early next year. Still undecided on weather to get a 4x4 or not. I don't do much off roading other than your occasional dirt road to the Hiking trail or fishing spot and Maybe go to Tahoe in Snow once a year. I will get the Sport Package regardless.

I sure Hope I put this thread in the right Place. I apoligize if I didn't, I'm new here.

Any advise for me on what to get and and what I would be looking at in Price range? :)

So I Guess I can get By with Light offroading and bringing chains with me up the Sierra. Will the Sport be able to tow? Just in Case.

From the rumors circulating there will be no sport package. No confirmation that I have seen.

Thanks, I'm still doing my research. Still have not decided.

Cons against 4x4: More fuel, more insurance, More maintenance.

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
From what your needs are, you don't NEED 4x4. Just get some chains for the rear tires for when you go to the snow.
