    2012 double cab long bed
    Hi,

Steve here, just picked up my 2012 Tacoma TRD Sport, double cab long bed, 4x4. Its magnetic gray metallic, auto, nav, and all that comes with that. Just ordered some SCS stealth 6 wheels in black, 315-70-17 Goodyear MTR Kevlar, a Fabtech 6" lift, 18" Flowmaster, hood struts, easy down tail gate kit, and Grillcraft grille. Whew that's enough. This is my 5th Toyota truck. My first one was a year old 81 4x4. My other car is a 08 Trailblazer SS AWD. My wife drives a 02 4Runner. I'm in the Air National Guard, did 8 years active duty and 31 years full time Guard. Worked avionics on F-4's, f-15's, and finally the B-2. Ended up the avionics flightline supervisor.

After a year in Afghanistain in 2010/2011 came home and six months later diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Back on active duty since I had symptoms while in AFG. Major surgery, chemo, chemo/radiation, and now more chemo. Awesome way to loose weight, I've dropped 60 pounds since February 14th, yeah, got surgery on Valentines Day! Jezz...

    Steve,
Welcome to the forum, from the boonies of northeast MO. I also used to work avionics on the F4-G and F-15. Also, the AV8-B, FA-18, and some others. Thanks for your years of service, and hang tough. Show us your truck. Sounds really nice.
