Im looking for a good brand of tire that are aggressive but still good on highway as well as offroad. Keep in mind it's a stock 2wd 2012 Toyota Tacoma prerunner sr5. Looking for 265/75/16s

i like my nittos terra grapplers. have had no prob off road. and rode they do pretty good. i have done the tail of the dragon 318 curves in 11 miles. and i pretty much did speed limit the hole time. they wear screeching but held the road pretty good. better than i thought they would.

1" lift from 3rd gen suspension, 265/75/16 ATs
I went from stock Dueller's in 265/65/17 to Yokohama Geolandar ATS 265/75/16. Verry little difference in mileage if at all. About 1mpg drop or so, sometimes even less. I would think going from 245/75/16 to 265/70/16 would be similar.

I have the AT2's in size LT265/75/16 and I am 2nd owner of these...1st owner outgrew them ;)..and he went to Nittos for the larger size...

I had Nitto Terra Grapplers ordered BUT a TW deal on the Grabbers changed that...:)....

We have taken my Tacoma places I would have never tried with my Trackers and these AT2's handled it all flawlessly ....

My '02 came stock with 265/70/16 Bridgestones BUT is geared with 4:56 gears and an automatic..My mpg's have always been good to great .....although no long distance trips with the AT2's yet....around town there is no difference...

    WELCOME to TW.....

    Michelin ... LTX-AT2 ... or ... LTX-MS2 ... had both and love them ... :D ... LTX-AT2s are more aggressive looking.

Probably go with LTX-MS2s next time since I do not off road and stopping & wet traction abilities are super with those tires.

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
i have some telstar (owned by cooper tires) turbostar AT, i have seen more aggressive tread on AT but its pretty decent (its got me out of a soupy spot spot or two, i two have a prerunner with the off road package and that locker comes in pretty handy). i got all 4 tires mounted and balanced out the door for an even 700. there is virtually no road noise and they have a 50k mile warranty. not to bad for the price i thought.
