I'm getting a 98 extended cab 4X4 auto with V6 tomorrow! this will be my first tacoma. I currently have an 06 corolla. The truck will be used to get me and my 4wheeler to hunting locations and just be a work truck.
It has less than 150K miles, i preferred a 4 cylinder with 5 speed, but this one is in excellent condition and great price.

Well this day has had its up and downs!! the deal on the 98 fell through!!!
I was going to give the guy 6400 for it but someone called and said they were driving 6 hours from houston to give him $7000 and that was that..................

So after being pissed and wanting to call back and offer more money (but really 6400 was my absolute max I could afford) I decided to look on craigslist while watching the aggies lose their first SEC game. well some one had JUST posted a

1999 extended cab TRD with a V6 and a 5 speed this one has 190K miles and is not as well taken care of as the first one. But it does have the locking rear diff and I was able to get it for $5,500 I still the think the first deal was better cuz for 900 more dollars I was getting one with 60K less miles and 4 new tires......but I need a truck and this one for 5500 will do the job. I will post pics later.
    Thanks
