    Hi,

    I just got a tacoma 4x4 access cap, 2013 4 cyl.
Looking for campershell that gives me the most space, (lots of dogs in the back, and I need to crawl to the back several times a day, every day !) but will not have so much impact on the mileage !

    Any ideas?

What do I need to look for ?

    Thanks !

I'd just stick with the name brands, Leer, ARE, Snugtop (there's another one but I'm drawing a blank). If you have to crawl back there frequently, I'd recommend a mid-rise like the ARE MX series or similar by the other companies. The extra head height is nice. Otherwise, go to their websites and check out the options offered (carpeted interior, window configurations, etc) and see what you like and don't like. This is the ARE MX series shell:

I like my SnugTop HiLiner and with dogs the sliding screens on the side windows are a plus.

I have a leer 180 ( well, it should be in today) it's leers version of the first pic. I got mine with a sliding front window and accesory rack on top....the features are endless and it can cost up to and around 2k....with just a few options you can get them around 1400-1500....

    Thanks all !

I got the leer 180, works perfect. They put aluminum screens on the sides, for the dogs.
Now I am thinking drawers under the wheel caps, where I then can put two big crates on top.
