    Hi TW community!

I purchased my dream truck, a rare 2004 SR5 DC 4X4 TRD that has 123K on it. It came with a matching camper shell and a gray interior in immaculate condition, engine bay is clean and entire frame rust free! :) The other day I swapped the stock wheels for a set of used later model OEM wheels that I purchased off of CL. I still haven't decided if I want to remove the OEM chrome step tubes yet and eventually swap them with sliders. Usually that would be my first mod. The mod fever is on the rise!

I also own a 3rd gen 4Runner and it's already hard to decide every morning which to take as my DD!

I plan to make a build dedicated to this rig shortly, trying to think of a good name to call it... I'm still drooling over my purchase!

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Welcome OP, and what a beautiful find! I'd love to find an 04 in that kind of shape, would probably trade my 11 for one if it was the right truck. Why is that particular truck rare? Are DC's not as common as the extra cabs in first gens?

Thank you for the warm welcome folks! I usually hang with the T4R.org crowd but it's always nice to chat with new yota fans! :)

Thank you! I'm still giddy over the purchase. In my area the used market of 1st gens are all filled with DC prerunners. It's "rare" that I get to see a DC 4X4 combination used in this condition and it took me a good 7-8 months to find this one. My criteria is that I wanted a gray interior with color matching bumpers (no chrome) so the SR5 with no chrome was a bonus! My only wish is that it came with the "limited" seats with the lumbar support and that it came with manual transmission. From what I hear DCs never came with manual tranny, oh well, I can't have everything.
