So I first got my brand new Tacoma a couple years ago 2011 brand new after driving my brothers around for a little after my old car got stolen. Must say, pretty happy that car is gone and I moved on to my Tacoma. ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH IT! Anyways I'm new to the idea of having a truck and modifying it, but I would love to possibly lift it and get some new wheels, I've decided to definitely go with the Wrangler Duratrac tires after reading the thread on here. But anyways I was just hoping anyone would have advice on some better wheel companies, mainly been looking at the XD series, and any pros/cons of lifting Tacomas, I'd really like to get as much info as I can before putting the money into thanks!

Welcome. Most guys stick with 16s or 17s with 4.5" back spacing. Most manufacturers have a Taco bolt pattern and hub bore.

    Too many to list now.
    Welcome from ak!

Wheels - check out scs wheels on here. Great looking wheel. My favorite by a long shot.

Suspension lift - I say suspension lift because you don't want to put a body lift on. Depends on your budget and more importantly your intended use. If you're wanting to run bigger tires just for looks and don't need something hardcore I'd say bilstein 5100's all around. About 800 bucks total for a decent lift t 2.5 inches. If you're getting serious about off roading I'd look at some of the better systems, icon, fox, etc.

Duratracs - id keep looking at rubber. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on those and haven't really read anything negative about bfg km2's or nitto grapplers. Again, depends on use.

TRD Supercharger, Toytec 3" Ultimate Lift w/ 285/75/16s and planning on OBA for sometime in the future. Also thinking about the HWMS and a Warn 8000 for it.
    Cons:
Lifting the taco will decrease your mpgs.
Then the bigger/heavier tires will do the same.
    Pros:
    Lift and tires look awesome!
