Hey guys, this is my first thread so I am going to start it off by putting up some pics of my new ride. Its a 2013 Tacoma Auto., 4x4 DCSB TRD OR in Pyrite Mica. It has the Entune/Nav with JBL stereo. I also have a piece of paperwork for a "pre-order" of the TRD supercharger as soon as the fit kit is released. If you have pics of your new best friend put them up here so we can all enjoy them. These pics were taken with 52 miles on the odometer.

    Congrats..and welcome from So. Fla.

As far as I know, there should be a fit kit for the 2012 S/C. Nothing has changed, so it should fit. The dealer just has to wait for the official OKAY from the supplier.

Yeah, I figured they would be the same, but I called around and talked to TRD and Toyota and the dealer and they said something about one little thing being different and making it so it did not fit. Similar to how the 2012 does not fit on the 2011. Its one of those things that they wanna make sure and not tear into the truck and find out there is a fitting in the way of something. So I will just wait the few months. Plus this way I will be able to appreciate it much much more when I do get it put on. Then by that time I will have saved up for the exhaust, URD Y-pipe and high flow filter.

Liking the blue. Kinda sad about the amount of really nice colors they offer. Makes me constantly wonder if I chose wisely.

Posted a separate thread but I'll add a pic here of my new Tacoma - Mag Gray DCSB 4x2 SR5 Texas Edition with the Tow Package. Horrible picture (sorry). Loving the truck so far - my first Tacoma but no way will it be my last.

    TRD Exhaust TRD Short Shift
Here is my new 2013 Tacoma. Got it with 3 miles on the ODO. Had the TRD CAT Back Exhaust and TRD Short Shift installed at the factory. Bought the TRD Baja wheels ahead of time and had them installed day after purchase.

Exhaust is loud but not too loud. A nice hum when cruising. When shifting at around 2500RPM, it really comes alive.
    truck4 exhaust.jpg

The short shift is the only way to go for a manual transmission. I drove a manual during a test drive and the short shift is a lot different. Shifting is fast and just makes the experience great.

I like the knob. It is heavy, as commonly needed for short shift setups to help getting through the gears with ease. I like the engraving too.

Sick! I love those wheels!! They are on my list of possible wheels when the time comes.

Unfortunately, I can't say how easy/hard to install because I had it installed at the factory. It is the TRD Short Shift Kit available from TRD parts suppliers. In most cases, they can be installed from inside the cab but again, not sure about the Tacoma. My RECOMMENDATION.... Short Shift is the only way to go!!! The difference is significant.
