I have 08 Tacoma 4X4. For a couple yrs I hear a ticking after 45 mph. It sounded like a rock in the tires and I would only hear it if I was next to wall or something to bounce the noise back. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't find the problem. Now the ticking is louder over several yrs. No rocks in my tires and replaced the plastic bushings in my springs on the rear axle. Any ideas on what that noise is? I looked on line and saw that I'm not the only one with that problem but found no solutions. Does anyone know what this annoying ticking is, that sounds like a rock in your tire?
