2nd gen armrest question

    Ive allready searched and fixed the crack and put some vinyl/okeatger on the armrest. Looks pretty good. My question has aryone found any way to make it stronger. I'm guessing people that haeve allready fixed it probably dont lean on it anymore for fear of breaking it. I'm just wondering if you could brace it from behind so it doesn't flex. The armrest is very weak. If this fix does't work, i have a friend that has a plastic welder, but i like leaning on mine. And i'm only a 135lbs. Just throwing it out there.

    My passenger side is cracked as well and i'm going fix/vinyl that side as well. Just would like to make it stronger.
