    Good morning everyone from cold, windy Jacksonville, Florida. I've decided to become a member after every time I google for advice on my Tacoma I got links to this site! There were other sites like TacomaForum and ToyotaNation, but this one seemed to help me the most.

    My PreRunner is a 2004 double cab, the first vehicle that I purchased for myself. At the time, I wanted to get the TRD extra cab, but my wife was like 'what if we had children...', so I went with the d-cab. That was just as well, since mine was the only radiant red truck on the lot. Everything else was silver, black, or white. Seems like there wasn't much color choices for the 1st gen Tacomas.

    My previous was the 93 Toyota no frills, base model truck in a nice navy blue that my dad bought me for college. That was back when trucks didn't have names and costed less than $10K new! After 12 years I gave it back to him and it's his daily driver!

    I thought this was going to be short, but I'm in the market for a set of new tires, the first set for this truck after 65K miles, those dealer-installed Rugged Trails sure did their job. I'm also wanting advice on how to remove those darn black spots from the aluminum wheels. I've been told that that is a lost cause and to try SOS pads, but I'm reluctant to try that. So again, hello to all, I look forward to hearing from everyone here for advice...
