    Hello my first TW post!

Hey my name is Shen, I live in Portland, OR. I just got my first Taco a few months ago. It's a 2013 sport, double cab, long bed 4x4. I am super stoked that I got the Tacoma, I was considering others, but they don't matter now.

I just want to say thanks for all of the great info, it has helped me a lot with what mods I have chosen to go with and what future mods I will most likely choose. I have been reading the forum for a little bit now so I figured I should just sign up.

The first round of mods I have just gotten the 3" Toytek ultimate lift package installed, super happy with the product, and the 18x9 XD addict wheels with some 285/65R18 Nitto trail grapplers. The truck looks badass! Drives great, can't wait to go and play on some trails!

For the next round of mods I'm planning on new longer braided brake lines, I noticed that the rear brake lines are a little 'short' after the lift. And I am looking to increase the performance of the engine a little with a CAI and an upgraded exhaust. I am considering the TRD catback exhaust, or maybe just a better muffler. for a CAI I was thinking about the Volant CAI with the 'Skoop'
    Any recommendations or comments?

    Thank you!

Are they louder than stock tires? Yes.

Are they noisier than All Terrain's? Probably.

However the Nitto MT's are actually quieter than I was expecting. They are noisy when you are cruisin at 70+ down the freeway, but Taco's are noisy at that speed regardless in my opinion. I was originally looking at getting the Toyo MT's but evidently they are made by the same company. And supposedly the Nitto's are quieter than the Toyo's. Go figure.

They do want to 'walk' around a bit for the first few hundred miles, but once they are slightly broken in they handle great and get a little quieter.

To say the least, I am very happy with them.

Looks good. Just FYI, the TRD Hood Scoop is not functional.
