:mad:have a 2006 toyota taco 6 cyl 4x4.bought it as a lease return,i've had it for 2 and a half years now,had 70,00 kms on it when i got it and now has 110.000 kms.
tk gd I bought the extended warranty..had a lot of problems with it steering rack went, wheel bearing went, caliper went, radio keeps dying and coming back to life(no warranty there),rust on rockers panel(no warranty there not rusted through) and a host of other problems but the thing that really ticks me off is the mud flaps, they are so damn stiff if run over anything at all they break off and this is supposed to be an off road truck i have put two different sets on... now im looking at aftermarket ones to see if they are better.I have had 4 corollas brand new and put 110,000 or so kms on them -no problems at all and that was why i got the taco as a 2nd vehicle.......however after all the ranting I Really like the truck and enjoy driving it havent hd any provlems for last few months knock on wood lol

Husky Liner Mud Guard are $70 for all four. You can try those. At least the front ones are a lot shorter and won't catch on everything. You could sell OEM's for more to make profit if they are still in one piece.

I hear you with the wheel bearings, just waiting for parts for both front right and front left. Truck has only 138k kms with both bearings shot.

Mine has been pretty good otherwise, sorry to hear about so many problems with yours...
