Greetings from the Great White North, eh! It took me a few months to find what I wanted but I picked up my new to me Tacoma this week. It's a Black Sand Pearl 2007 Double Cab V6 6-speed manual 4x4 TRD Sport with towing package and heated leater seats. I know leather is very rare, this is the only Taco I've ever seen with black leather seats. Sorry I don't have better pics yet, it's dark and cold outside and these pics are from the dealer. I look forward to starting the mods...

Nice to hear that you found what you were looking for. Now don't look around too much because you will find yourself spending a whole lot of mula!

Thanks! I wanted something that could seat 4 adults comfortably and tow at least 5000 lbs but I did not want a full size truck. I considered a couple of SUV's but I really wanted a pick-up for hauling mountain bikes and/or a generator with extra fuel and a little firewood (for camping). I'm also a huge car enthusiast and I despise driving automatics. A Tacoma DCSB 6M fit my needs perfectly but they are not very common around Ottawa. Lots of DCLB auto's for sale and a fair amount of AC 6Ms. I ended up travelling 350 km ( 220 miles) into Quebec to find my truck, I took the train to the dealer and drove it home on Wednesday.

This will be my daily driver in the winter and used to tow my tent trailer in the summer. I won't be lifting it or putting on bigger tires, I want it to tow well on long highway trips and I don't want to worsen the fuel mileage. I'll start with some of the inexpensive basics like a clamp to prevent easy tailgate theft, an electrical outlet in the cab, LED bed lights and maybe a de-badging. The first mod that costs real money will be a short throw shifter.
