...in 2 car payments. So I devised a dastardly scheme to rid myself of that life draining tyranny of a hyundai and a gmc. With reckless abandon my plan was afoot. It was a warm winter day in northern california, a few clicks east of the bay. Warmer than usual. My phone rang and the dark voice on the other end spoke those words I'd waited to here for so long, "see you soon". After and intense battle of wits and will power, my triumph was complete as I bestowed my burdens on yet another victim. With the weight of Atlas lifted from my shoulders I breathed a sign of relief and happiness as I galloped away in my new born chariot upon wings of fire and lightning. Zeus himself waved with envy of my new found glory. The tapestries of this event are in the works.

Cliff notes: i traded my hyundai and GMC for a tacoma today. Pictures later. It was legen..... wait for it

    ....dary.

so you were upside down on two cars and traded in for a tacoma which i imagine
is going to be more then the two cars combined, with an insanely high interest rate.

atleast whats i think you mean by balls deep..

Yes I was upside down, but by downsizing to 1 vehicle I saved 350 a month.

i dont see how you traded in two upside down vehicles and your saving 350 a month unless you put a large large stack of cash down

well, by trading in the 2 vehicles my monthly payments went from 800 to 600, then my insurance went from 115 a month to 66. Finally The cost of fuel for 2 vehicles went down to 1 saving at least 150 a month. My wife moved from her job 30 miles away to the store that is only 1 block from our apartment. So we no longer needed 2 cars. So we did some numbers and it made sense to trade in. Plus I have great credit so I get low interest rates. Add in being military and the dealers wont leave you alone.

Are we just going to sit here and not acknowledge the fact that this gentlemen quoted the barnacle.
