New Guy From Vero Beach (Fl)

I've been lurking for a couple weeks now. Guess I might as well make it legit. My names Matthew, and yes I have a Doberman.

I recently purchased a 2009 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4 Access cab. I had an incident with my 08 Mazdaspeed 3 and was advised that perhaps I should look in to getting a different vehicle. I was looking at FJ's but couldn't find one in my budget that I liked. I was really looking for a TRD model and those are even more difficult to find.

But I digress. I stumbled upon this 09 4x4 and it seemed moderately priced. Upon further inspection of the pictures (vehicle was out of town) I noticed this neat looking thing on the engine that was marked TRD. I make the drive to go check the truck out and sure enough it had a supercharger on it. The dealer was clueless about it. Did the whole song and dance and now I'm the proud owner. The truck has 79k on it. A bit higher than I wanted but I figured for the price I got it for I did alright.

Since owning it, I've replaced all the idler pullies (had a bad bearing in one) and done some other non-essential stuff. Painted my grill and headlight housings. Next up is a proper stereo and off road front bumper.

This is my First Toyota truck. My 47th vehicle though. I've owned several Jeeps, lots of import (cars), a few trucks, muscle cars, and other assorted nonsense.
