1st Tacoma

Just bought a 2013 PreRunner Dbl Cab 4x2 4cyl automatic. Been a ford guy for 20 years. Still have my beloved 95 Bronco 5 speed that I'm getting ready to drop a Cummins 4BT turbo diesel into. I own my own business and drive about 40-50k miles per year, so another F150 that gets 16mpg just wouldn't cut it. I have the Bronco for any grunt work I need to do anyway. After driving many trucks, the Tacoma suited my needs well. Have put about 300 miles on it in 3 days, hauled some pavers and sand, thrown 3 grown men in the back for a trip to Home Depot, and put the wife and 3 kids in it (2 car seats) and I must say it has been great. Will probably fill up tomorrow and know how the gas is. Rides great, easy to drive and park, great bluetooth...best vehicle purchase ever...beside my Bronco! Just ordered my Bakflip G2 and Dynolock so I can keep the important stuff safe like my golf clubs and fishing gear. Thanks for a great website to go with my new truck.

Welcome. and MPG if you go easy and keep RPMs under 2k you should get over 20mpg.

i don’t really know what the 4cyl’s get. i have almost 52k on my ’07 DCSB 4wd v6 and i have heavy load rang e tires and probably get about 17. need to plugs and stuff soon and it should go up. I also have a lot of stuff in the truck, like a thick bed mat(not from toyota)
