New Tires

I just bought my 2nd Tacoma! Its a 2013 stock 4x4 longbed with 245/75r16.
They seem way to small whats the largest size I can go without a lift?
265/75r16? I dont want any rubbing

BFG website said that the all terrain TKO were not recommended for my truck. Why would that be? weight difference?

Link? Where does it say it isn't recommended?

The TX Baja edition comes with AT KO as OEM tires.

i would think a C-rated tire would be ok, may ride a tad rougher but yes, the side walls are stiff on the at ko. But hell they put them on the tx baja, pro so why not. Just play w/tire pressure till you get a good ride and wear. ^^^^^^^^ sorry i type slow^^^^^^^^^

...or go with a more modern AT tire... like my Hankooks that weigh just 3 lb more than stock.

on the BFG website tire calculator is where I got that info, didn't say not recommended just didn't list as a choice for that tire. I had the BFG on my 98 limited for runner which I loved. They clean well in the thick Arkansas gumbo and also grip well when Im in the ozarks

Someone had 285's on mine when I bought it and it has a 2 inch coil spacer up front and the tires were still rubbing on turns. I had them taken off because I didn't want to smash the sheet metal when I go off road
