Hello Everyone!

Just got back from the dealer where I signed the purchase order for a ’13 V6 4X4 DCLB in Black. It will be here in a few weeks. I went for the TRD Sport package because I like the hood scoop and chrome delete. Went for the V6 Tow package and the Display Audio with Navigation as well. First mod will be debadging. First addition will be a Leer Cap w/rack (I have a 17’ canoe). Then plan on a 6” BDS lift and some black wheels and bigger BFGATTA’s. I’ll be sure to post pics as things progress.

This is not my first Tacoma. I bought a new extended cab V6 4X4 back in ’96. Drove it ‘till ’04 when I decided I wanted/needed an SUV. Traded it in on a super charged 4X4 Nissan Xterra. Just traded the X back for a new Taco! Whoohoo!

Well… I guess that’s all for now… I’ll just lurk and learn while I wait for delivery.

Endeavor to persevere. Matt

yeah the rugged fails suck!! but the all terrains are pretty good tires. i don’t have them but buddy has them on his FJ. they do good. night and day compared to the rugged fails, i hated those tires on my truck.

Yes. I've been a Goodrich man for a long time... OEM on the Tacoma as well as the Xterra. They are not the beefiest looking, but are in my opinion the best all around compromise tire on the market. They last a long time on the highway, and perform adequately off road. I lived on South Padre Island Texas when I got the Tacoma in '96, and they even do good in the sand if you air them down.
