Auto transmission fluid change- when?- T-SB-0006-11: states that- 100,000 mile maintenance interval---- Inspection only; ATF-WS does NOT require any flushing or changing during the life of the vehicle. January 6, 2011. Is this true or is it BS? Brought it to the dealer to get the fluid changed and he said it wasn't necessary at this time. This is when he handed me the service bulletin. I don't know what to believe. How is it POSSIBLE for that fluid to last that long? The fluid eventually breaks down and oxidizes, especially at high temp.

its not BS, by toyota, u dont need to change your auto tranny fluid more than every 100k miles. its a "sealed" tranny. most people have had it changed out tho
