    Welcome, Dan, from tropical north Idaho. I remember Maui with the cane field trains and the arrival of the Bark Carthaginian in Lahaina when we lived in Kailua (1965-1968), current home of musician Jeff Peterson. Still have my Honolulu PD ID card from my year as a JPO. I'm a fan of Bob Taylor's koa reforestation work, since I might as well start learning guitar during the pandemic pause...
