New Taco owner

I purchased a 2013 TRD Sport DCSB right before Christmas and after lurking for a few months decided it was time for a new member intro. This is technically my second Toyota truck, the first being an early 80's model I bought in college for $1100.

Here's how she sits today with just over 6,000 miles

Mods to date:

WeatherTech mats front and rear
Caltrend neoprene front seat covers
front license plate mod (no plate)
TRD center caps
USB relocated to center console
TRD Shift Knob
TRD Cat back exhaust...installed 2 days ago
WeatherTech mudflaps all around
Thru Axle Mountain bike mount

I love this truck!!!

Nice truck.

How do you like the shifter knob? I've been eyeballing it on Amazon for a while now, haven't pulled the trigger on it.

I like it a lot. It is smaller than the stock knob, but it fits my hand comfortably. I do a fair amount of shifting despite the fact it is an auto and definitely prefer the look and feel of the TRD knob.

I have the same caps, I wanted to know how much did you do to modify or make them fit on your wheels?

TRD exhaust sounds bad ass. I love mine. Compared to stock...not even a fair comparison. Deep an throaty. A bit of resonance in the cab but fades away at cruising rpms. Perfect IMO.

Hmmm, I'm in the process of ordering my Tacoma thru the dealer maybe I'll have to have them add that into the package

If you have the money to swing it I strongly suggest it.

How much did you pay for the TRD shift knob? My dealer says it's $80, but I'm not looking to spend that much. Thanks in advance
