    How to change the starter for a prerunner V-6 as I will be attempting this and only got info from other sites?

    Disconnect battery neg. Lead, unclip the wiring harness, remove two long bolts ,14mm head I believe, that hold it to the bellhousing. have some paper towels for blood, a lot beer for patience and to tap into the well developed cursing library. :D
