    1972 bronco. Tacoma soon!
    Hey all,

I'm new to the forum and looking forward to purchasing my first Tacoma(first new car) in the next few months. I've always been an old car enthusiast but with a new house, new career and new baby there’s no time to work on them anymore. I need to use every bit of spare time to actually get up into the mountains (instead of just working on my truck!).

I've owned a '74 FJ40, 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster, '91 Ramcharger, '89 Suburban, and just as soon as I can sell my 2005 Audi A6 4.2 and my ‘72 classic Bronco I'll be buying a 2013 TRD Double Cab in Spruce Mica.

I've read a lot on lifts but maybe someone can help me distill some specific info I'm looking for and recommend the right lift. I'm new to IFS but I've worked a lot with solid axle mods with over 24" of articulation.

This will be my daily driver but I also intend to get twisty on the weekends. I live on the side of pikes Peak, Colorado so I have plenty of rocky trails to enjoy (my wife got nervous when I told her there is a button to disable the airbags off road). For this reason I don't want just a simple spacer lift. I'll need something that will allow for as much front articulation as possible sparing a solid axle swap or major modification(maybe once the warrantee is up!). I'm not in it for looks, I want performance. I don't want to go over 3"-4" and I will do all the work myself.
Am I to expect no more than 1 inch down travel from a coil-over? I assume a diff drop make up for that?

Thanks for the help and, yes, I am crazy for selling my classic Bronco.
    -Mike
