Hey guys just picked up my first Tacoma. It is a 2010 sr5 prerunner double cab. I have always been a gear head and mostly owned muscle cars mainly mustangs but after my last mustang started to die on me I decided it was much better to trade it in before it left me on the side of the road. I decided against the tundra because of the horrible gas mileage reviews and went with the tacoma and I can say I am very happy. The mustang would get an average of 250-270 a tank. (highly modified) where as the Tacoma I have had it for a little under a week and I am currently sitting at 215 miles and on a half tank and mostly city driving.

This was at the dealership here in town the night I got it. Since then I have had the windows up front tinted to match and the windshield tinted. Now looking at tires and leveling kit for the front. Possibly an entire lift kit but am still learning what to do and what not to do.

Don't do a spacer lift in the front, it'll ride like hell... Don't worry about all that right now though, this website has an abundance of knowledge. It will make your purchase things you never thought were even manufactured for your truck. Haha, welcome and hold on to your wallet!

Thanks... It can't be any worse than the copious amounts of money I spent on the mustang. When they appraised it and added all the receipts of things I had bought and put on . It came to well over 9k

That's absurd... Well then I'm sure you'll do a damn good job turning that truck into your own. Looking forward to seeing your progress...
