Hi All, I am new to the forum. I had an issue with the truck idling high. After reading through the posts for high idle issues I determined it was the IAC. Removed it and cleaned it and cleaned it. Re-installed it and everything is fine. The truck belongs to a friend of mine. I had replaced the water pump and timing belt for her. After that is when I noticed the high idle. I was not used to driving it and she never paid attention to it. At first I thought I might have missed a tooth on the crankshaft gear, but the truck runs great. That is when I started searching and found this forum. Thanks for all of the available information. The last time the belt was change a Toyota dealer did it and put the belt on backwards. For someone who knows how to line up the timing marks with out the marks on the belt this was not a problem. It was confusing at first, but after a while it became clear what they did. Her truck has 199,700 miles on it and looks almost new.

    Thanks,
    Mitchell
