New guy-Billy4string

Hi everybody. I'm a new guy here and would like to introduce myself. I'm Billy4string and got my new 2013 standard cab a month. ago. My last Taco was a '99 and before that a '88 2 WD. Oh, I'm in Geneva,Ohio. I ordered a AFE air filter,only because Amsoil does not make an air filter for the 4 cyl.,but for the V6,yes. I've used Amsoil products for 21 years. I saw that tip on taking out the "upper filter" for more air flow. I'm doing that tomorrow. Something else I did was take out the air box completely and use a Dremel, and cut out the top half of that "air flow pipe" inside.Now, the inside of the air box is truly open. I've been a hot rodder for 45 years, and can't leave anything alone. That's it for now. Thank you for welcoming me onboard.
