    Hello all!

New member and new Tacoma owner (We're talking "new" new, it was on the lot 3 days ago) making his introduction. I'll spare you the personal details and get right to the part communities really care about, the truck.

She's a 2013 DC TRD Sport, 4x4, 6m and tow package. Also my first new vehicle! (It's more impressive if you ignore the fact that she's my 2nd vehicle period). She already has 1000+ miles on her, but that was a product of buying it while on leave with parents in VA and being stationed in FL. On a side note, these little trucks eat up highway miles beautifully.

Anyway, I wanted a stick-shift truck that'll last me a good 20 years and Toyotas seem to carry that reputation. Plus it didn't have the crab-boat turning radius the Frontier did.

It's been raining solid for about two weeks in Florida, hence the truck looking drenched (bed drains well, though)

I'll be sure to honk at any white TRDs I see on base.

linzy77 as for the wasting money, my first truck that (sadly) died was a 1988 Bronco. I'm well versed in money/time sinks.

I was visiting my folks in Arlington when I bought the truck. We'll have to grab a few beers when you get back to base.

My stock antena is too tall and gets cought in trees. Does anybody know of a small/shorter one. Solid black plastic may be ok.

Also mud flaps. The stock ones are broken and just too Long. Does anybody know of a small one. Sorta like the new 4-runners come with?
