Hello all, new member here from Thornton Colorado. Drove my 02 double cab home yesterday, and got a call from the finance manager today saying my loan was approved and everything is good to go, so I figured now was a good time to join.

New Tacoma owner but not new Toyota owner (owned a first gen 4runner a few years back). I've always had a thing for the first gen double cabs, and finally pulled the trigger!

I bought the pickup because we just had our first baby (son), and I wanted something safer than my lifted Jeep Cherokee, but still very capable, and obviously needed 4 doors.

I don't plan to do any crazy mods in the near future, likely just upgrade from the 265/70-16's to 75-16's (mainly because the 75's are actually cheaper). I'd also like to install a winch behind the factory bumper for a clean factory look. Of course the grey wire mod.

I look forward to learning this Tacoma inside and out, I've got quite a bit of experience in the Jeep world, but little with Tacoma's.

    Thank you for having me!

Well I got my taco out onto some dirt roads to test out my grey wire mod, locker worked perfect. I realized however, the worn out Bfg long trails need replaced badly, Duratracs ASAP! Also remembered how much differently pickups handle than SUV's. Either way, I'm loving this Tacoma!
