    Just joined the Tacoma forum. I have the 1st year version (1995). I love this truck, and have only a 130k miles on it. The 5 speed manual makes it fun, quick and yields great gas mileage. I have never owned an automatic transmission vehicle, and hope I never have to. Hence, my next vehicle will be the Tacoma X-Runner, assuming Toyota doesn't discontinue it (like they have the Cressida, Starlet, Supra, MR2 and Celica GT).
