Just recently got an 05 prerunner and came across this site while searching some of the quirks my truck had. Lots of good info here. So far i've added a aux port to the factory deck, clamped my rear leafs cause the drive shaft thud was driving me nuts, and a complete tune up. I searched for months looking for a 1st gen taco but ended up with a 2nd gen as I was able to afford it lol. This truck comes as a big relief from my previous 01 gmc w/built 6 liter and all that stuff. Got tired of wrenching on it and blowing through transmissions so I decided to get a tacoma. These things drive so smooth and easy its ridiculous, so you could say i'm hooked on tacomas. Here's mine the day I drove it home. Plans are to keep this one mostly stock besides wheels and stereo.
