New Tacoma (98 std cab 5 spd)

Just a hello from a new member who just bought their first Tacoma. 1998 standard cab, 138,000 miles, pretty much stock except the wheels. It's going to be a work truck as we build a new (very small) house in the Puget Sound. 2.4, 5 speed, first thing we're going to do is spray a good bed liner in it. (Unless you think a plastic bed liner is better...).

Yes, my wife can drive the 5-speed, she's super handy with tools, too.

First Toyota we've had in a long time and the first truck I've ever had. Wanted a Tacoma because they're supposed to be super reliable. We'll see...

 

P.S. Many thanks to the knowledgeable members who contributed to the stickies in the 1st Gen Forum, it made buying the Tacoma a breeze. We bought with confidence armed with the wonderful information we found here.
