    Hello everyone. I'm very happy to have my new\used 2008 Tacoma. I have owned a 1993 Nissan D21 pickup for over 11 years and I finally had to retire it. It's not dead, just retired. It's new nickname became old smokey for the last few years of service. I gave it to a good friend of mine that has a 15 year old son who just got his license to drive. I figure he can enjoy the joys of driving a stick for a while during his younger and usually more accident prone first years of driving. At 240,000 plus miles it has lived a good life. I could have the engine rebuilt for a couple grand, but I'm tired of stick shift and seeking a little more comfort. My 08 Tacoma is like driving a Cadillac compared to the little old two seat 93 Nissan.

    I'm looking forward to learning all the ins and outs of the Tacoma and happy to be a part of the community.
