    MY 98 TOYOTA TACOMA FAILED,
    The smog test with the fllowing codes: THE OBD FAULT CODES: THE FIRST CODE IS: PO171 System too Lean (bank 1). The smog tech showed me the problem for the first error code. :eek: The second code is PO402 EGR FLOW EXCESSIVE. I Hope it's an easy fix! Thank you all, Sincerely Lizzi

    I have the same P0171 code and its been a bitch to get rid of. Check out these threads: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/search.php?searchid=9935121

    If you use the search feature and narrow it down to "search by thread titles" you can probly find some info on your P0402 code as well
