    I just joined the forum and plan on purchasing a 2005+ Tacoma double cab, also hopefully 4x4 but I'm trying to keep it at about $18k so its a little tricky. I just sold my old car which was a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 that I had for 5 years and will miss, but its time I move on and I've always wanted a truck and never heard of anyone who has had a tacoma that didnt love it. I was first planning on getting a 07 Tundra 2wd dbl cab but I have heard mixed things lately and they seem to depreciate faster than tacomas.

    Anyway I'm excited to be joining the forum and to be a proud owner of the tacoma of my dreams...someone has to just put it up for sale first haha

    I was very active on a few evo and awd forums and I will probably end up doing the same here so I look forward to talking with everyone on the boards.

    Start searching www.cars.com or www.autotrader.com. If you can't find any locally, atleast you can get an idea of what the trucks are going for so you can bargain when you find one. Good Luck!
