I just traded in my 06 Tundra for an 11 Tacoma. Love it for ease of maneuvering and fitting into small garages, which my Tundra could not do. I have one issue however...it started pinging recently, under load at low rpm (less than 2,000). I have 50,000 on it, wondering if it might be the MAF sensor. Anybody had issues with theirs ? Thanks

Always used 87, which worked fine in my 06 Tundra V8. I don't think I need to use higher octane in a smaller engine with the same compression.

Out of curiosity, try a tank of 91 and see it makes a difference.
