    Hello All,
Don't even own the truck yet but found Tacoma World searching the web for tips. Buying my first Tacoma Saturday and figured this was a great place to find any info that I might need ... and if I discover something not here I will be sure to share.

I pick up the Truck (no pun intended) this Saturday. 2013 2WD, Dual Cab, Long Bed, V6 with the Towing Package and TRD Sport Package. Super White with Graphite interior. I wasn't particularly interested in the Dual Cab as it shortens the bed by over a foot, but found this one with the long bed. It rode very nice on the test drive and I think the longer wheel base on the truck was part of that. I didn't realize just "how long" the truck is (18', 6") until I measured my garage and found it would fit with a mere 6 inches to spare ... WOW! My wife and I have owned Toyota cars for a long time but this is my first Toyota Truck ... 5th Toyota vehicle purchase in a row going back to 1995.

Had the Truck for about a week and a half now and finally ran a tank of gas through it. Don't know just how full the Dealership had filled it when I picked it up so don't know how accurate the run was but got 18.43 MPG on the maiden tank of gas!! Only change so far is an AFE Pro Dry S drop in replacement air filter. Have a Undercover Flex Tonneau Cover on the way also. Around Thanksgiving time will take it for a easy Break-In run from Omaha down to the Fort Worth area and back just to put some road miles on it and check the true Highway mileage. The Tacoma World site is great ... have been enjoying just browsing through ... LOADS of good informative stuff in here! Thanks. :)
