Hey everyone, brand new to the forum!
I sold my 2000 Toyota Tacoma regular cab
4x4 In January of this year and have regreted it ever
Since. So I'm about to buy a truck next week and was hoping
For some insight on the truck in the images. Are there any
Obvious indicators in the Craigslist post that I should worry about?
    Thanks everyone!

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I like it but would like to see at least 1k off that price to pay for some maintenance you'll have to do such as tires, shocks, springs, brakes, u-joints.. Offer 10k... you never know.

I asked if the price was firm,
his response was " I have the title in hand,
so I believe there is some wiggle room"
I certainly wish my mechanical skills
were up to par, I worry that I won't recognize
    an obvious problem.

Off the bat it looks like the rear springs need re-arched and an add a leaf installed. That's $400. If he doesn't have receipts for work done....figure it needs 2k invested.

I bought my '06 Sport for $15,900 3 years ago from a dealer with a warrantee. It had 115,000 on it at the time.

Look into any clutch service/replacement. Mine was replaced at 89,000 and I've had no issues and am at 167,000 now.

I did a suspension upgrade because the weak rear springs couldn't handle a partial face of wood, even with an aal!

I'm very happy with mine! Basic maintainance will GE you a long way!

Get his price down a grand or so for any maintainance or upgrades you may want/need!

    Welcome to the club!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to try to keep the price
under $14,000. Hopefully the man has documented the trucks
service history. I appreciate the help!

If you have the vin., you can get on Toyota/owners site and look up any dealer service history.

nice truck, but like everyone is saying.. factor in things you'll have to do right from the beginning, including but not limited to a nice new set of front hubs for it :D

price does seen a tad high for a base model

After staring at that rust bucket of a truck I decided
I had it with the private sellers around here just trying
to get rid of there junky trucks, I drove straight over to the
Toyota dealership and bought something that put my
mind at ease, this truck appears to have been very well
taken care of, one owner, 30k miles. I'll make a post tomorrow
with some more photos, to include some specs. I'm excited to be
    A part of this community!
