    Greetings from the High Sierras of Northern California. I recently retired and we moved up to our vacation place full time. We decided that our 2WD SUV just wasn't going to cut it, and decided on the 4X4 Tacoma to replace it. Got it just in time too. Within 24hrs of having it up at the house, it snowed.

    Oh, by the way. I found the forums because I had heard about tailgate thefts being on the rise, and looked around to see what people were doing about it. I found the hose-clamp fix here, and decided to join. Since then I used the Stop-Unlock-Door-Beep routine and successfully silenced the beeps. There's lots of good information here and I appreciate having someone free that I can turn to for answers.
