I'm a 15 year old soon to be 16 year old and that means I'm about to need a truck. I've searched for about the last year and decided that a tacoma is the truck for me. The truck I have posted above has caught my eye and I think it would be the perfect first truck. I was wondering if some of the members on this page could take a look at it and tell me what you think. I know that Toyotas are pretty good even with high mileage but I want to know if that truck is worth $5500 with that many miles and if it still has a lot of life left in it.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I like it. I hope the timing belt has been changed.

Yeah, the mileage isn't a concern if it's been taken care of. At first glance, it's a great deal. That being said, it's awfully low priced...makes me wonder if it's a scam of some kind. Definitely check it out before you do anything.

BE CAREFUL of SCAMS on craigslist--do NOT send MONEY.
That is a good deal--have a seasoned driver and or mechanic look it over for you.
When deals seem too good to be true--They are scams.

I second on that with Steve. Have he timing belt replaced just for, price of mind along with all the fluids and an overall time up. A couple of bucks will go a long way.

For that price I'd be wary, just like others have said. I'd check the title and see if it's branded - reconstructed or salvaged. If so, it may not be such a great deal.
