My buddy Keith and I came home from Afghanistan and Keith's little brother ended up throwing a rod through the edge of the block on his 92 xtracab 4x4 5peed stick with the 3.0 v6 in it and decided he didn't want it so he have it to me. It's my first Toyota pickup and I've been told by a lot of my Toyota friends that I shouldn't put another 3.0 in it because they are terrible motors and have been told to put a 3.4 l motor in it. Can someone tell me what else other then the motor Ecu and wiring harness am I going to need on it. And where I can find a motor that'll pass ca smog for a decent price thanks guys and gals
